Homersfield's Phone Box
Phone Box Restoration Completed
The restoration of the village phone box is now complete and has been warmly received by residents and visitors alike. Many have commented positively on its appearance and have been seen taking photographs.
The Parish Council extends its thanks to Joe for carrying out an excellent job. The restoration was made possible with funding from East Suffolk Council, and the Council is grateful for this support in preserving a valued local feature.
Guardian of the Phone Box – Volunteer Opportunity
Homersfield Parish Council is looking for a volunteer to take on the role of Guardian of the Phone Box. This person would be responsible for curating and updating displays inside the phone box, focusing on local history, conservation themes and other relevant community information.
If you have an interest in heritage, wildlife or community engagement, and would like to help keep this restored feature active and informative, we’d love to hear from you.
Please contact Sally, Clerk to the Parish Council, clerk@homersfield-pc.gov.uk for more information or to express your interest.
